The Pride of Staunton chess pieces are designed with a classic Staunton profile and crafted from Rosewood and Boxwood. Each chess piece is triple weighted by adding a stud of iron within the base, providing a stable feel during play. The pieces feature green leather felt on the base to help protect the chessboard surface and support smooth movement.
Each chessman is carefully carved and weighted, with proportional dimensions suitable for use with boards featuring approximately 55 mm squares. The set includes a complete collection of chess pieces along with two extra queens and a plastic storage box.
