At Wooden Chess Art, we want every customer to receive their order in good condition and as described. Each product is carefully inspected and securely packaged before dispatch.
If you experience an issue with your order, please review our Refund & Return Policy below and contact us before returning any product.
1. Return Eligibility
Eligible products may be requested for return within 7 days from the date of delivery.
To be eligible for a return, the product must:
- Be unused and in its original condition
- Include all chess pieces, accessories, and components supplied with the order
- Be returned in its original packaging, where reasonably possible
- Include proof of purchase or a valid order number
- Meet the return requirements stated in this policy
Please contact us before sending any product back. Returns sent without prior approval or return instructions may not be accepted.
2. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Products
If your order arrives materially damaged, defective, or you receive a product different from the product ordered, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

- A video, where reasonably required to demonstrate the issue

3. Handcrafted & Natural Wood Variations
Many Wooden Chess Art products are individually handcrafted and manufactured using natural wood. Because wood is a natural material and handcrafted products are individually finished, reasonable variations may occur between products.
These variations may include:
- Wood grain
- Colour and shade
- Natural patterns
- Texture
- Carving details
- Finish
- Minor dimensional differences
Such reasonable variations are part of the natural and handcrafted character of the product and will not normally be considered defects unless they materially affect the intended use, functionality, or quality of the product.
4. Non-Returnable Items

Where permitted by applicable law, original shipping charges and return shipping costs for an approved change-of-mind return may be non-refundable and may be the responsibility of the customer.

7. Return Shipping

For discretionary or change-of-mind returns, return shipping costs may be the responsibility of the customer where permitted by applicable law.

Customised, personalised, or made-to-order products may not be cancellable once production has started.

If an order is refused, remains unclaimed, or is returned to us because incorrect or incomplete delivery information was provided by the customer, additional shipping or related costs may apply.

Where reasonably possible, the original product packaging should be used and all pieces, accessories, and components originally supplied with the product should be included.

Where this is not reasonably possible, we may contact you regarding an appropriate alternative method, subject to applicable payment and legal requirements.
