4” Staunton Chess Pieces Only in Golden Rosewood - Double Weighted

The 4” Staunton Double Weighted Chess Pieces are handcrafted from Golden Rosewood and Boxwood and designed in the classic Staunton style. Each chessman is individually hand polished on a buffing wheel for a smooth finished surface.

Each piece is double weighted with an iron stud added inside the base, providing a more substantial and stable feel during play. The chessmen feature green felt on the bottom to help protect the surface of the chessboard while moving the pieces.

This set includes 32 chess pieces, 2 extra queens and a plastic storage box. The chessboard is not included with this product, making the set suitable for customers who already have a compatible chessboard or want to select one separately.
