Reproduction of the Herman Ohme Minimalist design made in the 1950s by Herman Ohme in California. These chess pieces feature a functional Mid-Century modern style and are crafted with Golden Rosewood and Boxwood. Each chessman is specially weighted and finished with a felted base for smooth movement across the chessboard.
The chess pieces are available in two material variations: Golden Rosewood and Ebonized Boxwood. The set includes 32 chess pieces, 2 extra Queens, and a plastic storage box. Chessboard is not included.
