The Altamura Artisan Series Chess Pieces are crafted in Bud Rosewood and Boxwood, featuring a detailed Staunton-style design and balanced proportions. Each chessman is triple weighted by adding a stud of iron within the base for added stability during play.
Every piece is fitted with green felt at the bottom to help protect the chessboard surface and provide smooth movement across the board. The set includes 32 chess pieces along with 2 extra queens and a plastic storage box.
With a 4.6-inch king and substantial piece dimensions, this set is suitable for chessboards with approximately 50 mm to 65 mm square sizes.
