This reproduction of the 1849 Original Staunton Design chess pieces is crafted in Ebony and Antiqued Boxwood, bringing together the traditional Staunton form with detailed handcrafted finishing. Each chessman is individually carved and polished.
The pieces feature green felt at the bottom for smooth movement across the chessboard surface. The set is triple weighted to provide a substantial feel during play and is supplied with extra queens and a plastic storage box.
