These Circa Soviet Russian chess pieces are reproductions inspired by Soviet chess pieces from the 1960s. The set is handcrafted in Golden Rosewood and Boxwood, with each chessman carefully shaped and finished for a classic Russian-style chess appearance.
Each piece features a green felt base designed to help protect the chessboard surface and provide smooth movement during play. The chessmen are double weighted for added stability and a balanced feel in the hand.
Available in Golden Rosewood and Ebonized Boxwood, this set includes 32 chess pieces, two extra queens, and a plastic storage box. The chessboard is not included.
