The 3.8” 1972 Reproduced Reykjavik Championship Series Chess Pieces are crafted as a reproduction of the chess set associated with the historic 1972 World Chess Championship match in Reykjavik, Iceland. The design reflects the classic style used during the famous match between Bobby Fischer and Boris Spassky.

The chessmen feature carefully carved knight designs and are handcrafted from Ebonized Boxwood and Boxwood. Each piece is double weighted for added stability during play, while the traditional Staunton-style proportions make the set suitable for practical chess play and display.

The set includes 32 chess pieces along with 2 extra queens and a plastic storage box. The chessboard is not included with this product.
