The chess pieces feature a distinctive Russian Minimalist design and are individually handcrafted from fine-quality wood. Each piece is specially weighted and individually buff polished for a smooth finished appearance. Green felt is fitted to the bottom of the chessmen to help protect the chessboard surface during play.
